It’s with great excitement and fulfillment that I have the opportunity to start a clinic dedicated to helping people feel healthier and more youthful. These are not easy goals in todays medical climate, and to have an avenue that allows the pursuit feels like finding the diamond in the rough.
My training in Internal Medicine at LA County + USC Medical Center after going to medical school at UC San Diego helped me to understand the fundamentals of medical care as well as the art of practicing medicine. After many years caring for the sickest patients as a hospitalist physician, my interest in health, regenerative medicine, and aesthetic medicine began to grow as an outlet for my need to feel like I’m making a difference for the patients I care for. It has been an absolute joy to help people feel more confident, healthier, and capable.

Hi, I'm Ashlen and I am excited to be your Aesthetic Nurse at NuAura MedSpa! I have local roots; I grew up in the Yuba/Sutter area and I’ve been working with the people in this community my whole life. I have two beautiful daughters, a husband, and five fur babies that all call this area home. I received my Associates of Science and Mathematics in 2015, Associate Degree of Nursing in 2016, and subsequently my Bachelors degree in Nursing in 2021. Throughout the years, I have gained experience in different areas of the nursing field and its various roles: Skilled, Acute, Utilization Management, bedside, supervisory, and now aesthetics!
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my girls, enjoying my husband’s cooking, travelling to my favorite little ocean town (Carmel By The Sea), snuggling with puppies, lifting weights, and making time for my own self-care practices.
What I love most about aesthetic medicine is the uniqueness in which I am able to empower, transform, and connect with each and every person who sits in the treatment chair. Being in a career field that allows me to encourage others along their own self-care journey is truly a blessing. It’s a beautiful thing to experience someone feel like the best version of themselves all while being part of the process and I cannot wait to share that with you!

Schedule an Introductory Consult with Dr. Karp
Your first visit to NuAura Aesthetic and Regenerative medicine to discuss restorative and regenerative medical services will be a consultation with Dr. Felix Karp. You’ll come in, meet our team, tour the office, and we’ll sit and talk. We want to understand your goals for treatment and address any concerns you may have.
Based on your consultation, Dr. Karp will design your treatment approach. He’ll walk you through his recommendations, discuss options, and answer your questions. Then you'll decide what’s right for you. This is your health and your quality of life. You are in control!
